ABOUT US:

In 1975, two local mothers who were impressed by the German "Kindergartens" decided to set up a playgroup in Bosham. After much research and many evening classes , the doors of St. Nicholas Hall were opened for four sessions a week with sixteen children and a waiting list!

The parents ran the playgroup until 1978, when in became a "community playgroup" with a committee of parents responsible for its management and fundraising, and a team of staff responsible for the curriculum and day to day running.

Today BCPP is still a non-profit making organization and continues to be run by a committee of volunteer parents and a team of qualified and friendly staff. We welcome any help that parents or carers wish to give in order, not only to maintain the happy and stable environment for our children in which to develop and learn, but also to ensure the continuation of our thriving and popular playgroup.
